DTC Client Portal Testing Scenarios
Hi Beta Tester! Thank you again. Here are a few scenarios we'd like to encourage you to explore during the Beta Test phase. The goal here is to:
- Validate usability
- Performance, and
- Functionality
1. First-Time Client Login
- Receive welcome email → Set password Needs Review
- Log in → Browse dashboard
- Set up 2FA Needs Review
2. Submit and Track a Support Ticket
- Submit a new support ticket with a file attached
- Receive confirmation and email update
- Add a comment and change ticket priority
- Admin responds → Status changes → User closes ticket
3. Permission Escalation and Data Privacy
- Try accessing another client’s data (should be blocked)
- Request additional access → Admin grants → Refresh privileges
4. Use on Different Devices
- Log in on mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Check for responsive layout
- Attempt to access features from mobile (file upload, etc.)
5. Error Handling and Validation
- Submit a blank form → Validate field-level errors
- Upload unsupported file type
- Navigate to a broken or removed link
6. Password & Account Management
- Change password → Re-login
- Lock account after multiple failed attempts
